The Recruitment Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for the Recruitment Team within the Office of Human Resources.  The Coordinator engages with perspective applicants, hiring managers, HR Representatives, and other AU staff regarding the overall staff search process.  The Recruitment Coordinator also facilitates and supports the onboarding of all new full-time staff members. The Coordinator manages the daily maintenance of the online application tracking system including; assisting with job postings, system inquiries and auditing for accuracy. In addition, the Coordinator manages the background check compliance and exit process for the team. The Recruitment Coordinator is also responsible for the strategy and content development and implementation for the team’s social media presence.     
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in training and experience.    
Minimum Requirements:
  • One to three years of administrative experience, preferably in human resources and/or recruiting
  • The incumbent must have experience as a customer main point of contact  
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Customer focus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Collaborative work style
  • Familiarity with computer programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint       
Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience developing and implementing social media strategies       
  • Experience with an applicant tracking system is desirable
