The Residential Services Coordinator provides logistical and administrative support for the Conference and Residential Services program by assisting with the planning and implementation of summer housing and residence hall desk operations. Responsibilities include supervising residence hall front desk services, administrative support to the director, assessment, staff recruitment, selection and training, and other departmental functions. This position is supervised by the Director of Conference and Residential Services. This position requires collaboration and communication with other campus partners and students and serves as a primary customer service representative in the office responsible for assisting with all facets of departmental operations.
Educational Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in training and experience is required.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in human resources or staff selection/training experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills (both verbal and written) with demonstrated effectiveness in interacting with individuals of diverse social, cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds
- Ability to work both independently and in a highly collaborative team environment
- Computer experience, particularly in database and spreadsheet applications
- Must be able to prioritize, balance, and complete multiple tasks with direct but minimal supervision
- Excellent customer service skills
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in college residence hall management and/or student affairs

This position may require working additional or non-traditional hours, including weekends and/or evenings.
