The Associate Director of Residential Facilities is responsible for the management and supervision of all residence hall and department operated facilities as well as the day-to-day oversight of sustainability and vendor/rental programs for residence hall students. The incumbent coordinates residence hall maintenance, renovation and new construction including all general residence hall furnishings and equipment across campus. This position maintains appropriate vendor/supplier contact and product/service information, including costs, warranties, contracts and service agreements. The Associate Director coordinates the contracting of external vendors who provide services to on and off-campus facilities and students including laundry, rental programs, etc. The incumbent works with the Office of Sustainability to ensure departmental and residence hall compliance with university environmental protocols. 
Educational Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree is required. A Master’s degree or the equivalent in experience and training is preferred.
Minimum Requirements:
- 4 years of relevant work experience in a professional office setting
- Demonstrated experience in the following areas: facilities management and planning (renovations and new construction), training and public relations, customer service, administrative operations as well as excellent skills in oral and written communication
- Working knowledge of environmental sustainability matters
Preferred Requirements:
- Familiarity with spreadsheet, word processing, and database application
